We are a hardworking crew from Northeast Pennsylvania who set out to create a better way to lay asphalt on smaller jobs. When we realized there was nothing on the market that fit our needs, we built our own solution: the DraggTec Asphalt Drag Box.

From In-House Tool to Nationwide Demand
Our first drag box was handcrafted in our shop and used on our spec home driveways and on roads throughout our manufactured housing communities.
The results were impressive, and word quickly spread about our affordable and efficient approach to asphalt work. Before long, customers outside our communities began asking us to take on their projects.
What started as a simple, in-house tool soon turned into something much bigger. After seeing how well the drag box performed, Cole Peffer, owner of DraggTec, began sharing videos on TikTok. The response was immediate. Contractors all over the country wanted to know where they could buy one. By spring 2023, we made the decision to move into production so we could manufacture and sell the DraggTec Asphalt Drag Box nationwide.
